Received Yaye's invite waay after we bought the Kitaro tix. So after checking-out near noon, we drove back to KL then had lunch before going to Lenggeng. As we got nearer to her place, there were buntings showing the way to her house & they actually had Rela guys controlling the traffic  was a big do as both Yaye' & her younger brother had their reception that day. Was good to see her after these years & she looked good. Hot & bothered a little I think but happy.. only managed to get them before I left so just the 1 picture.

Kitaro Love & Peace Concert, Genting

The family decided we were going to this concert a few months ago & bought the tix as soon as it was available, during the Lantern festival and got ourselves quite a big early bird discount. Concert was very good but I thought the sound system could be slightly better. What came out of just 6 musicians was so amazing, we're definitely going again the next time he's here. If in Genting, must remember to bring a jacket along, was colder than I expected.. must be less than 20 degrees there.

PwC Biannual Dinner @ MO

The firm had it's biannual dinner on Friday, 16th Nov. Although MO is very near to my flat, I still did not make it in time to be the first 600 eligible for a lucky dip. I was actually kinda glum that day as I'd a minor incident involving someone else's car in the airport carpark.. a prize would've been good.

It's the Fourth day of Syawal & it's time for us to go to Negri Sembilan  We went with 3 cars to ask for the hand in marriage of my cousin's gf from her family in Linggi. I've met her twice only but she's very easy to get along with which I like  The food they served was so good my parents wanted my cousin to ask for the recipe.. Best part, they gave us take aways so we had it again for dinner. My cousin brought 7 trays of gifts (hantaran) including the ring & was given 9 trays back. Not sure why the girls side always gives 2 more? On the way back it rained so heavily which was horrible for the drivers - the traffic was also quite heavy as it's the festive season jam. Me, I just slept in the back..

Buka Puasa Dinner

Parents decided to invite the bachelors (my cousins) over for buka puasa.. it turned out into a dinner for 30. My mum was busy cooking from lunctime for our family & Elena & my friends. Elena & me were the kitchen helpers- cutting veggies & washing up. Great fun though

Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary Pahang

Went on a short trip with friends to the elephant sanctuary and Deerland as a pre-puasa thing.. It was fun as I haven't seen them in so long. Been almost as bad as if I'm still in UK. Work has messed my system up, trying to catch up first with ING, then PWC.. At the elephant sanctuary we saw about 10 elephants- the baby ones were cute. All of them smell tho but we couldnt give them a bath as the current was strong & the river level was high. After than went to Deerland where we saw loads of very 'jinak' <tame> deers. Respect to Zare' & Jumi for handling the phython. Amat geli!!

SPA BBQ @ Palmyra Bangsar

As a make-up for the work done during the away day, Boss had a BBQ organised for the dept. The food was good- prepared by our own budding Chef J who even took 1/2 a day off to marinade the meat & cook curry for us..

SPA Advisory Away Day in Cameron

After 2 days of induction, I was pulled out early to join the dept's away day in Cameron. At first I felt a little like, What? but the trip turned out OK for me- got to know the rest of the team but not OK for them as it was a total working trip..The sweet corn in Cameron was so good I want some more

Changed the bedding for Elena's room. Also added the carpet which was in my parents bedroom as they bought a new one. I like the blue tones
